My name is Brian DeMarco, and I’m proud to be running for Place 3 on the Vestavia Hills City Council in the upcoming election on August 26th.
I’m a lifelong resident of Vestavia Hills — this city isn’t just where I live, it’s where I’ve grown up, built my family, and invested my heart. I attended school right here, just like my four amazing children — Emma, Asher, Bailey, and Cameron — who now walk the same hallways I once did.
Over the years, I’ve stayed actively involved in our schools and youth sports programs. You’ve probably seen me out on the field — I’m a proud coach of youth football, baseball, basketball, and soccer. Working with our kids has shown me what makes Vestavia Hills special: our strong sense of community, our commitment to each other, and our dedication to excellence in everything we do.
I’m running for City Council because I believe in preserving and building on that legacy. I want to ensure our city stays a safe, thriving place for families to grow, for seniors to feel supported, and for future generations to succeed. That means better sidewalks, thoughtful infrastructure, responsible budgeting, a vibrant arts scene, and leadership that truly listens.
I’m committed to continuing the long-standing excellence that makes Vestavia Hills a place we’re all proud to call home. I’d be honored to earn your support and your vote on August 26th.
Let’s get to work — together
